Meet Anna Figueiredo, MD
Anna Figueiredo, MD earned her medical degree from Petropolis School of Medicine – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She completed an intern year with Unity Health Hospital in Searcy, Arkansas followed by her dermatology residency training with Kansas City University GMEC Phoenix Dermatology.
With both her parents working in healthcare, Dr. Figueiredo was inspired to become a doctor. She believes everyone has a story that includes struggles. That’s why she takes time to listen to patients and families, and cares for them as she would her own family. Native from Brazil, she speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Understanding the importance of advancing her field through research and education, Dr. Figueiredo has contributed to numerous professional publications and has presented at international and national meetings.
Outside her practice, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors – with proper sun protection, of course!
She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Mohs Surgery.
